Family and friends of a missing West Virginia mom are growing increasingly concerned after they received a series of strange messages from her Facebook account after she disappeared.

Mary Haley-Scott was last seen in the Raleigh County area late last week. She was driving a Blue 2020 Kia passenger car with Virginia Temporary registration URV3345.
She texted a friend a picture of her with two black eyes, alleging her estranged husband had beaten her. She disappeared afterward.
Haley-Scott reportedly sent the message to Krissy Musallam around 2:30 p.m. Friday, telling Musallam she had been “beaten pretty bad” by her estranged husband the week before.
The rambling messages also claimed that Haley-Scott had “tried to k*ll herself” and had fallen into a lake although she couldn’t swim. They went on to mention “Rural Retreat Lake” and again claimed she had fallen in “She fell in…yes she k*lled herself. She can’t swim.”
Vaught, Haley-Scott’s mom, and other friends also reported receiving strange messages from Haley-Scott’s Facebook account.
The day after she was indicted, her estranged husband William J. Scott was arrested on assault charges which had been filed by her. They broke up sometime in August, told Fox News by Haley-Scott’s family.
